
0x1908 video game gets a CONCEPT ART visual updates as we prepare to turn on the first scripts that handle music, animations, and click interactions.
This weekend I uploaded over 9000 images of creatures and places found in this alternative universe called 0x1908. These exploratory visuals help me define the ideas and style of the game demo art and marketing materials in development.
On the 3D side, today I discovered that by using an alternative to image textures, by using only vector colors, a browser can display even up to 5 millions of vertices without slowing down. This is how the game will be modeled and drawn in a way that gives the game a beautiful hand drawn feel to it.
Tomorrow will be a big day for bringing world models out of the VR headset and code for clicking interactivity.
